The classic cable industry

For more than 50 years HERKULA has been supplying the cable industry with MarCablo inks for printing and marking on plastic insulated wires and cables. In the MarCablo product line, there are inks available for all types of materials used as cable insulation. We supply specially adapted products according to process control and speed. For labelling via gravure and pad printing or ring marking suitable inks can be supplied as aqueous or solvent-based preparations. The usual colours in the cable industry are available for all series. Special shades can be created from a sample or by arrangement. PRODUCTION SPEED: up to 2400 m∙min-1

Gravure printing

APPLICATION: Direct / indirect

SUBSTRATES: for PVC, PE, PP, PA, ABS, PBTP, PS, PPO, elastomers, EPDM, PEEK, PI, Teflon, FEP, PTFE, PFA, silicon

PRODUCTION SPEED: up to 1200 m∙min-1

AVAILABLE SPECIALITIES: for problem substrates, spiral lettering or similar full-surface printing, halogen-free, full-surface printing of fibres

MarCablo – W         aqueous marking inks

HERKULA has more than 20 years of experience with solvent-free, water-based cable inks. Series 07235 is particularly suitable for marking FEP, PTFE and PI. Our experts in application technology will be happy to advise you with respect to a possible change to aqueous systems.
